StoryLid for brands

Pay for customers. Not eyeballs.

Vetted professionals carry your brand into cafés, coworking spaces and airports. You pay for verified hours, real clicks and new customers, each one traced to a lid, a place and an hour.

  • Every hour verified
  • Every scan counted
  • Every customer traced

Billboards can't tell you who looked. We can.

  • Seen up close

A lid sits at eye level, one table away, for hours.

  • Carried by people your buyers trust

    Founders, freelancers and students, hand-picked.

  • Measured like online ads

Scans, leads and customers, not guesses.

How it works

Five steps. You approve every one.

  1. Tell us who you want to reach.

Cities, places, and the kind of people.

  2. We hand-pick your hosts. You approve every one.

You see anonymous profiles, like “Product designer, Brooklyn coworking”, before anyone carries your brand.

  3. Our studio designs your lid.

You approve it. Every sponsored lid carries a small “Sponsored” mark.

  4. Hosts check in, work, check out.

A receipt photo and GPS at the start, GPS at the end.

  5. Scans, leads and customers land in your dashboard.

Change where the QR code sends people anytime, without reprinting.

Results-only plan · By application

Already run a partner program? Pay only your standard rate per lead and customer.

No hourly fee, no click fee. We cover the hosts.

Pilots start at 10 hosts for 3 months in one city. Founding sponsors lock their rates for 12 months.

For comparison: a click costs about $0.70 on Meta and $5.26 on Google (WordStream 2025). B2B companies pay $200–650 per lead (First Page Sage, 2025).

Who carries your lid

Hosts are real people, not billboards.

  • Identity and phone verified.
  • US-based, 18+.
  • Out in public at least 2 days a week.
  • Matched to your customers.
  • They never pitch or speak for you; if asked, they say “it's a sponsored lid”.
  • They follow venue rules.
  • If a host drops out, we replace them.

Our own money is in first

We put our own money in first: the founder's two companies are the first paying sponsors, with campaigns open now.

  • Founding sponsor

    The Danish Mentalist

Jesper's mind-reading shows for events and companies. 1,000+ live shows.

  • Founding sponsor

    VEN Method

Social-emotional learning that builds connection and community in classrooms and at home.

Both are the founder's own companies, and both are paying sponsors with hosts wanted now.

We don't sell impressions we can't measure. You pay for hours, clicks and customers you can see.

Jesper, StoryLid's founder, with his laptop

Why I built this

I'm Jesper, known in Denmark as The Danish Mentalist. I work from cafés between shows, and the lid on my laptop kept starting conversations that turned into bookings. So I built a way to measure it. My own companies are the first sponsors: I'm paying hosts to carry my brands before I ask you to.
